My name is Eva Sjerps (36) and I am a documentary maker and camera woman. After several years of School for Journalism and the foundation year at the Rietveld Academy, I left Amsterdam for my film education in Ghent. There I graduated from KASK (now the School Of Arts) in 2011. At the academy and afterwards I gained experience in making fiction as well as making documentaries. I also followed a minor in Audiovisual Art.
I also gained a lot of experience with various functions within film making, such as script writing, camera, light, sound, editing and the basics of image and sound post-processing. I think it is important to tell my story visually, sound also plays an important role in conveying a feeling. My latest film 'WITH ALLES WHAT THERE IS' (21 min.), about people with Parkinson's disease who dance, premiered last year at the Dutch Film Festival and was broadcasted by AVRO.
