NPO 2 komt met shortdoc'
With 2Doc, the NPO reaches viewers with an average age of 62. A new type of documentary, the short doc, should appeal to a younger audience. Channel manager Gijs van Beuzekom wants fewer 'classic' documentaries (fifty minutes, completed story). He shifts part of the money flow - how much depends on the supply - to short documentaries, webdocs and multi-part, narrative documentary series.
