Derailed Dutch teenagers are given one last chance to improve their unruly behavior in the remote French countryside, with the help of a youth care worker. Used to acting tough, lying, rottenness and contact with the police, a no-nonsense Dutch youth care worker gives them a second chance in the French countryside to become who they could be. In this intimate, observational film, Maasja Ooms, known for the award-winning documentary Alicia, analyzes in detail the survival strategies of these derailed and hardened young people.
