The Frisian filmmaker Steven de Jong has acquired the rights to the book Mister Veronica, the biography about Rob Out. Rob Out was the first director of the Veronica Broadcasting Organization, which emerged from the illegal offshore channel Radio Veronica. Out introduced Veronica into the public system in the 1970s and ensured that it became the largest broadcaster in the Netherlands with more than 1 million members. Among other things, he came up with the iconic slogan 'you are young and you want something'. Rob Out passed away in 2003. De Jong wants to make a film adaptation for the cinema in the short term, the director announced on Wednesday.
