Matthias Schoenaerts, who has appeared in major Hollywood productions such as Red Sparrow and A Hidden Life, is open to starring in a Belgian production again. The 41-year-old Flemish actor says he really appreciates Belgian cinema. "I also know that I have been away a lot, but have I outgrown it? No," says Schoenaerts in conversation with Knack Focus. "I would still like to work in Belgium or Flanders. With pleasure. I remain curious about Belgian films."
