The Talent Awards for emerging film talent were presented on Monday, September 30 at the Dutch Film Festival. Joost Vandebrug's debut film BRUCE LEE & THE OUTLAW was awarded the Film Prize of the City of Utrecht 2019. Three prizes were awarded within the NFF Student Competition: Irene Lagendijk, director of MAY DIVORCE BE WITH YOU, received the Pathé Tuschinski Award for best film, Wladimir van Heester, Jesse van der Pluijm, Remy Mulder and Jana Mucek (NINGYO) received the Fentener van Vlissingen Fund Award for the most distinctive performance by a crew member and Tessel Jonkers won the Film Producers Netherlands (FPN) Award.
