Videoland starts the new talent development project the Videoland Academy, supported by the Dutch Film Fund and in collaboration with the NFF, IDFA, IFFR and Dr. Script. Today Antoinette Beumer (director and Head of development of scripted fiction and non-fiction RTL) and Doreen Boonekamp (Director of the Netherlands Film Fund) gave the starting signal for the Videoland Academy during the NFF Talent Awards at the Dutch Film Festival. A call to the new generation of filmmakers to pitch their original and exciting story ideas from now on via videoland.nl/academy. Videoland makes more than one million euros available and gives new talent the opportunity every year to make a total of four 45-minute fiction films and a documentary triptych.
