The Japanese artist Sawako Kabuki, with her colorful and cute animations - full of vomit and assholes - designed this year's Pluk de Nacht poster. Pluk de Nacht will take place at two locations this year. From July 31 to August 4 at De Vrijhaven at Nijverheidsweg 4 in Utrecht, and from August 14 to 24, 2018 at Stenen Hoofd in Amsterdam. The festival was founded in 2003 by a group of friends with a great love for film. Their goal was – and still is – to let as many people as possible enjoy films that have not been released in the Netherlands or have only reached a small audience.
