Central is the new talent development program for fiction directors and screenwriters. The series is the successor to the One Night Stand films and is an initiative of NTR, BNNVARA and VPRO, NPO Fund, Netherlands Film Fund and CoBO. Central consists of six episodes of 45 minutes, each produced by a promising team of directors, screenwriters and producers, led by screenwriter Mieke de Jong. The stories stand alone, but they have one thing in common: the start and end point is Rotterdam Central Station.
