The Sound and Vision webshop opened its virtual doors at the beginning of April. Sound and Vision gave the MuseumDepotShop an 'assignment' to sell objects from the cellars of the Hilversum archive and museum. Old film cans are also for sale. 'Natural Side Indies' is written in scratchy handwriting on one of the round tins for 16-mm films. “It contained educational films from the thirties and forties,” says Dalida van Dessel of Sound and Vision. She selects the objects for the online store. “The films have all been digitized, the boxes have become redundant.”
