NPO director Frans Klein circumvented the British anti-money laundering law with his English letterbox company in 2016, according to an investigation by NRC on Friday. Klein is currently being investigated by the Public Broadcasting Integrity Commission (CIPO) for a possible additional position as director for a letterbox company that he had held for years, while he was also media director and later television director of VARA.
