The supervisory board of the Dutch Public Broadcasting has appointed Paul Doop as the new director of the NPO. From mid-August this year, 63-year-old Doop will strengthen the board of directors and will be responsible for the Finance and Operations portfolio. Doop is therefore the successor to board member Jaap Kooij, who left last year, and has returned to the EO.
