After its short form debut season on YouTube and NPO3.nl, the drama series ANNE+ will receive a second season on BNNVARA on NPO 3. In eight episodes of 25 minutes, leading actress Hanna van Vliet returns as the lesbian Anne in her twenties. ANNE+ is an initiative of screenwriter Maud Wiemeijer and director Valerie Bisscheroux. The series is a co-production by Rachel van Bommel and Suzan de Swaan of Millstreet Films and BNNVARA. The first season of ANNE+ has been selected for the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and will also be shown at the INPUT Conference 2019 in Bangkok. The series had previously been selected for the short form competition of the international festival Series Mania in France and the complete first season premiered during the Dutch Film Festival.
