PowNed is in discussions with several broadcasters about a possible merger. Broadcasting boss Dominique Weesie reports this in the AD. BNNVARA and WNL in particular are broadcasters that Powned wants to collaborate with. Weesie: “Maybe it's swearing in church, but a broadcaster like BNNVARA suits us better than Omroep MAX. BNN is boyish, Vara is journalistic. It could also be that we make a stand with WNL. It's all exploratory, you know.” Powned currently has 25,000 of the required 150,000 members. Under the current circumstances, WNL, HUMAN and Powned will disappear.
