Jim Taihuttu wil soldaten in film over oorlog Indonesië niet veroordelen'
Jim Taihuttu is working on a film about the Indonesian war of independence that took place between 1945 and 1949, but does not want to condemn the soldiers of that time. “It's an untold story. (...) The director, who gained fame with films such as Rabat and Wolf, was initially advised not to shoot the film in Indonesia. The country would not have the right infrastructure to shoot a major film, and the war theme would probably open wounds.
