The union of Hollywood actors SAG-AFTRA has lashed out at the Academy, the organization behind the Oscars. According to SAG-AFTRA, the Academy is forcing actors who will present an Oscar in February not to appear at other award ceremonies. "We have received multiple reports that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is exerting extraordinary levels of unwanted pressure on people to prevent them from appearing at other awards shows," the union said in a statement sent to US media on Monday.
