Actress Olivia Lonsdale plays the leading role in the new television film Free Fight. She can be seen in the film, in which mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu play an important role, alongside actors Chiem Vreeken (Football Mafia) and Aleksej Ovsiannikov. The shooting has started, producer IJswater Films announced during the Cannes festival. Free Fight is directed by the young filmmaker Sven Bresser, who previously won an award for his HKU graduation film. He wrote the screenplay together with Saar Ponsioen, who won a Student Oscar last year with Grijs Is Ook Een Kleur, which she wrote.
