From December, visitors to Pathé De Kuip can watch films in a 4D room. This makes the cinema chain a first in the Netherlands. The 4D room has moving chairs, performs 'weather simulations' and spreads scents that travel through the room in synchronization with the film images, the operator announced today. The chairs in the hall can move in several directions so that the viewer feels even more like they are in the film. To be able to convert halls to 4D, Pathé has entered into a contract with the South Korean 4DX.
