The new Dutch family film Dikkertje Dap has broken its second record. The film, based on the famous children's verse, had the best opening weekend of all the filmed stories by Annie MG Schmidt ever. A total of 66,000 visitors saw Dikkertje Dap in the first four days, distributor Independent Films announced. Previously, the new film also set the record for the most number of Dutch theaters where a title was released. Dikkertje Dap is also the best-opened Dutch family film of 2017.
