Actor Achmed Akkabi will make Glad Ice, a short film about the growing fear of attacks in the Netherlands and their impact on everyday life. This was announced by his production company Tebbernekkel. Slippery Ice takes place at the lost and found counter of a public ice rink, where an employee sees two boys with suspicious backpacks. Then his thoughts run wild. The film is directed by Joosje Duk. Her short film Night, which won an award in the US, can be seen at the Dutch Film Festival in September.
