Dutch actor Marwan Kenzari will play the role of villain Jafar in the live action version of Disney film Aladdin. His agent recently confirmed this. Kenzari's name was already mentioned earlier this week as one of the major contenders for the role. The Dutch actor was seen earlier this summer in the Tom Cruise film The Mummy and will star in the remake of the Agatha Christie novel Murder On The Orient Express later this year. The shooting of the new Aladdin will start soon.
